David Yalin 16 stands in the New North, the residential grid that wraps around Kikar HaMedina in central Tel Aviv. The square is a five minute walk east, Ibn Gabirol Street and its cafes are five minutes west, and the Basel Street strip is seven minutes north. Municipal records place the address in statistical zone 421 of the New North, Kikar HaMedina area, where the average building dates from 1970. The project is a TAMA 38/2 urban renewal scheme: the existing block comes down and a new building rises in its place.

Kedar Buildings is developing the project with Zait Lev Architects. The building permit approved on 19 April 2026 covers 26 apartments, and the developer markets the finished building as 27 homes on seven floors. The published mix runs from three and four room apartments to five room apartments, garden apartments, mini penthouses and penthouses. Kedar Buildings was founded in 1965 by Avraham Kedar and builds mainly in the Sharon region, with urban renewal projects in Tel Aviv.

Every apartment carries at least one underground parking space and a private storage unit, and the kitchens are specified with premium appliance suppliers. The renderings published by the developer show deep recessed balconies stacked along two elevations, planted terraces on the upper floors, a pergola over the penthouse level, and a ground floor set back behind landscaped planters. Each apartment plan includes a mamad, the reinforced safety room required by Israeli code.

The permit is the only published date in the file. Everything after it on this page, from the close of the appeals window to a spring 2028 delivery, follows the standard Israeli urban renewal schedule and is a projection, not a commitment published by Kedar Buildings.
