## Le programme

De Haas 14-16 replaces two aging walk-ups in the New North of Tel Aviv with 39 apartments spread over two new buildings. The Tel Aviv building permit was approved on 26 March 2026 under files 20242274 and 20242210, so the project has cleared licensing and now moves toward demolition. Gurel Development, the family firm behind it, describes the scheme as two buildings with light facades, clean lines and wide balconies planted with greenery, served by a shared resident parking garage.

The address sits on one of the quiet residential streets of the New North, two minutes from Kikar Milano and about 700 meters south of Yarkon Park. Ibn Gabirol and Weizmann carry the daily errands, the cafes and the bus lines, while Namir Road puts the coastal highway and the north of the metropolitan area within a short drive. The district was laid out in the 1950s and 1960s, and its low-rise blocks are now the stock feeding Tel Aviv's urban renewal pipeline, which is what puts a new building of this scale on a street of four-story neighbors.

Gurel Development acts as both developer and executing contractor, which keeps planning, construction and key handover inside one company. Its partners include Dan Gurel, a civil engineer who ran urban renewal planning at the Tidhar group before taking the CEO seat, Dr. Eitan Gurel, a Berkeley finance PhD and former CEO of Leumi Partners, and Adi Eyal, founder and CEO of One Software Technologies. The company lists thirteen urban renewal projects, twelve of them in Tel Aviv, among them Bezalel 17, Yehuda HaLevi 127 and Sheinkin 15.

MASA Architecture and Management designed the two buildings. Sales opened while the permit was still fresh: De Haas 14-16 appears on Gurel's marketed projects list, and the sales line is 03-330-1552. Working from the March 2026 permit and the standard demolition and reconstruction schedule in Tel Aviv, construction starts in the second half of 2026 and delivery lands in early 2028. Apartment mixes and prices had not been published when this page was written.
