Eight homes on Mizrahi Street in Florentin, permitted on 5 July 2026. The approved design is a narrow brick infill building with perforated brick screens, a recessed balcony on every residential floor and a top level set back under a roof pergola, five minutes on foot from Levinsky Market.

## Le programme

Mizrahi Street 19 sits inside Florentin, the former workshop quarter south of Rothschild Boulevard that has become one of the most sought after addresses in south Tel Aviv. The building permit for the plot was approved on 5 July 2026 and covers eight homes, a scale that keeps the project within the fine grain of the street.

The renderings filed with the permit show a narrow infill building faced in sand coloured brick. Perforated brick screens run up one bay of the street elevation, shading the openings behind them, and full height glazing opens the ground floor to the pavement. Every residential floor carries a recessed balcony set behind a glass balustrade, and the top level steps back from the street line under a roof pergola.

Construction has not begun. With the permit dated 5 July 2026, the appeal period and site mobilisation place the start of works around November 2026, and the timeline shown here projects delivery in mid 2028 on the 24 month cycle typical of a building of this size in Tel Aviv. No sales programme has been published for the eight apartments, so typologies and prices are still open.

Levinsky Market, with its spice merchants and bakeries, is five minutes on foot, and the bars, galleries and design studios of Florentin Street are the same distance. The southern end of Rothschild Boulevard is about ten minutes away, as is Elifelet station on the light rail Red Line, which connects the neighbourhood to the Allenby underground stations and on to Petah Tikva. Neve Tzedek and the Suzanne Dellal Centre are a fifteen minute walk, and Charles Clore Park and the seafront about twenty.
