The project
LIVE IN THE CENTER
Bazel 48 stands on the corner of Basel Street and Yehoshua Bin Nun Street, in quarter 3 of the Old North of Tel Aviv. The building permit, number 20250622, was approved on 26 March 2026 for 18 apartments over 7 floors, replacing the 12 apartment block that occupies the plot today. Demolition is scheduled for 24 August 2026, when Basel Street closes to traffic between Har Nevo Street and Yehoshua Bin Nun Street.
The 18 homes split into three types: 3-room homes of 76 and 78 sqm, 4-room homes of 100 sqm, and a top floor penthouse that has already been sold. Moshlin Simon Architects wrapped the corner in a curved facade of vertical fins, gave every apartment a deep balcony behind a glass balustrade, and set the upper level back under a pergola slab with planted terraces. At street level the building steps behind a low garden wall and mature trees.
The developer, M.B. Beita Real Estate Development, works exclusively on urban renewal in Tel Aviv and its surrounding towns, on both the TAMA 38/1 reinforcement route and the TAMA 38/2 demolition and reconstruction route used here. Its published portfolio counts 9 active projects, among them Merkaz Baalei Melacha 42, Sokolov 35 and Simtat HaShuk 3, plus a second site on the same street at Yehoshua Bin Nun 25.
The address puts Kikar Basel and the Ashtori HaPirhi pedestrian mall 3 minutes away on foot, Nordau Avenue 4 minutes away, and Ibn Gabirol Street 6 minutes away. Hilton Beach and the Tel Aviv Port sit about 14 minutes further west. Sales are handled from the Beita office at Ariel Sharon 4 in Givatayim, on 073-7408602.
