The project

Two towers over a mixed-use podium in the new Talpiot quarter

Allied Compound covers 4.5 dunams between HaTnufa, HaSadna and Yad Harutzim streets, in the Talpiot employment district of southern Jerusalem. Plan 101-1191014 clears the workshop and service buildings standing on the block and puts two residential towers on a shared podium. When the Jerusalem local planning committee recommended the scheme it reported 200 new homes and roughly 9,000 sqm of commerce and workplace; the plan was published in the official gazette on 19 May 2025 and the building permit followed on 16 April 2026.

The design annex signed on 14 January 2026 draws the towers to floor 23 above five underground parking levels. Floors one to six carry the mixed-use base, with shops and workspace set behind a deep concrete frame and active frontage on all three streets. A planted terrace sits on the podium roof, and the ground level opens onto a landscaped forecourt with mature trees. The towers above wear a fine light precast grid of punched windows.

Allied Real Estate filed the plan. The company is the property arm of the Allied Group, one of Israel's oldest private holding companies, and manages about 900,000 sqm of income producing assets across commercial centres, logistics hubs, industrial parks and residential projects. It already holds property on this block: Champion House Talpiot, a 6,795 sqm commercial and office building at HaSadna 4. Yigal Levy Architects and Urban Planners drew the plan.

Talpiot is being rebuilt around transit. Jerusalem's Blue Line light rail will run 31 km from Gilo and Talpiot in the south to Ramot in the north across 53 stations; main construction started in 2025 and first service is planned for 2028. Mayor Moshe Leon has described the old Talpiot industrial zone as set to become a vibrant, modern quarter in the coming years, and the municipal policy for the district asks for commercial frontages, generous public space and walking distance access to the light rail.
