The project

Wadi al-Joz Residential Addition, Jerusalem

Plan 101-1267749 provides for 12 homes in Wadi al-Joz and received its approval on 26 May 2026. Wadi al-Joz is an East Jerusalem neighbourhood that climbs from the valley north of the Old City walls toward Mount Scopus. The plan's official title describes a residential addition, and the architect's drawings filed with it show two linked residential wings on a narrow plot that tapers at both ends. Garages and parking take the street level, the residential floors rise above them, and balconies line one of the long facades.

The Rockefeller Archaeological Museum stands about 400 m from the plot, and Herod's Gate and Lions' Gate of the Old City are each under 1 km away in a straight line. To the east, the Hebrew University campus on Mount Scopus lies about 800 m off and Augusta Victoria Hospital about 850 m. Salah al-Din Street, the main shopping street of East Jerusalem, is about 750 m to the south west.

The site plan keeps planted garden areas at the north and south tips of the plot, where the two wings stop short of the boundary. Between them, the wings meet around a shared core with the stair and lift.

As of September 2026 no developer has opened sales or published prices, apartment sizes or a construction schedule for this plan. The timeline below is computed from the 26 May 2026 approval on the standard Israeli sequence: appeals clear around August 2026, works start around September 2026, the structure is weather tight by May 2027 and handover falls around May 2028. Developer details, typologies and prices will be added to this page when they are released.
