Gordon 52, Netanya

Gordon 52 is a 16 apartment residential development approved on A.D. Gordon Street in Netanya under local outline plan Nat/Mak/552/80, filed in the national planning register as 408-1438357. The plan takes the plot from the 12 apartments already approved on it to 16. The applicant is Aviv Shaked Holdings Ltd, registered company 512874637, and the plan covers block 8267, parcel 146. The address sits about 850 meters east of the Netanya cliff, with Sironit beach directly below it.

The plot belongs to Makhnes, a neighborhood laid out in the early 1950s on land held by Moshe Makhnes, whose brother Gad Makhnes was among the founders of Netanya (source: the Netanya municipal heritage archive). Its streets carry the names of labor movement figures: Gordon, Kaplansky, Bilinson, Givat Chaim and Borochov. The grid is one of low rise walk ups from the 1950s and 1960s, close enough to the center that residents reach Independence Square and the Herzl Street shops in about ten minutes on foot.

Netanya is processing a dense run of renewal schemes across these older central streets. In the same series of committee decisions, the city advanced plans at Gordon 14-16, where 23 apartments give way to roughly 75, at HaMatmid 3-5 and Bialik 8, and at Rabbi Meshulam Rath 17 to 21, where 44 apartments become about 159. Gordon 52 is one of the single plot plans moving through that same committee.

The approved design sheet, signed by chief plan editor Ilan Epstein and dated 3 February 2026, places one residential block on the plot facing Gordon Street. Above the ground floor it sets seven typical apartment floors, numbered 1 to 7, and a penthouse floor recessed at the top, over a parking level tucked under the building. The street elevation carries a balcony on every apartment floor, and the site plan keeps the plot edges planted.

The plan was approved on 25 June 2026 and the project has not opened for sale. The apartment mix, prices and a delivery date are not yet published, and no marketing rendering has been released, so the exterior shown on this page was generated from the approved permit elevations.
