Rabbi Brod 5, Netanya

Rabbi Brod 5 sits in Netanya's Tobruk quarter, 200 meters west of Sderot Ben Zvi and about 1.5 kilometers from Argaman Beach. The Netanya local planning committee approved the building permit for the plot on 4 June 2026. The permit is registered to Africa Israel Residences G.P. Ltd, company number 516908266, the partnership entity of Africa Israel Residences.

The address falls inside Ofek HaYam, the 780 dunam master plan for western Netanya bounded by HaYahalomanim Abrams Street to the north, Sderot Ben Zvi to the east, Sderot Ben Gurion to the west and the Neve Oz neighborhood to the south. Africa Israel Residences and Bait VeGag jointly promote compound 542/3 inside that plan, where the Central District planning committee approved 735 homes in seven buildings of 10 to 30 storeys across 37.5 dunam, with about 5,000 sqm of commerce and employment space and 21,000 sqm of public buildings, designed by Alonim Gorbitz Architects. Press reports on the partnership put the full quarter at roughly 6,300 new apartments alongside a business center and commercial frontage.

Groundwork on the quarter is already visible. Development of the neighborhood road network began in November 2025 with paving on Raoul Wallenberg Street, and work continues through 2026 on the Irena Sendler and Oskar Schindler axes. The partners told the Israeli real estate press they expected their first excavation and foundation permits during the second quarter of 2026, the quarter in which this permit was issued.

Africa Israel Residences has been building homes in Israel since 1960 and has traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange since 2006. Its Savyonim neighborhoods, planned on a neighborhood that is a city model, are its best known product, and it markets two further Netanya developments on the western side of the city, Savyon Gardens and Savyonei Hashmura. Apartment mix, sizes and prices for Rabbi Brod 5 have not been published.
