Kehilat Budapest 8, Tel Aviv-Yafo

Kehilat Budapest 8 is a boutique building of 14 homes in Hadar Yosef, a family neighborhood in northeast Tel Aviv-Yafo. The 4 apartment building that stands on the plot today will be demolished and replaced by a new building of five storeys over one basement level. Yaaz Development and Construction lists the scheme among its TAMA 38 projects, the national plan that lets owners rebuild older apartment blocks to modern earthquake standards in exchange for added homes. Tel Aviv municipality approved the building permit on 14 September 2026.

The developer's sales list runs from 2 to 5 rooms. Two garden level 2 room apartments of 53 and 56 sqm each come with 49 to 58 sqm of private outdoor space. The 3 room apartments measure 70 to 77 sqm and the 4 room apartments 99 to 101 sqm, with 10 to 20 sqm of outdoor space each. The largest unit on the list is a 147 sqm 5 room apartment on the second floor, open to the north, south and east, with 20 sqm outside. Five of the nine units Yaaz publishes were already marked sold in October 2026.

XS Studio for Compact Design is credited as architect on the Korat Gag project listing. The developer's visuals show a white rendered block whose street fronts carry full width balconies on every floor. A recessed top floor opens onto roof terraces shaded by a slatted pergola, while a planted front garden screens the ground floor and a ramp leads down to underground parking.

Yaaz pairs a building contractor with more than 55 years of experience and a development company, and acts as both developer and main contractor on its schemes. Its Madlan profile counts more than 90 projects in Tel Aviv: 54 in planning, 21 under construction and 15 occupied. The company states that Tel Aviv municipality selected it for its pool of approved TAMA 38 contractors. From Hadar Yosef, residents reach the Ayalon Highway, Rokach Boulevard and Routes 4 and 5 within a few minutes by car, according to the Korat Gag listing.
