Yedidya Frenkel 70, Tel Aviv-Yafo

Yedidya Frenkel 70 is a five home boutique building on a corner plot in Florentin, southern Tel Aviv. The Tel Aviv-Yafo planning administration approved building permit 20260239 for the address on 6 May 2026. The approved scheme stacks residential floors above a glazed ground floor that opens straight onto the pavement, and the top storeys step back behind planted terraces, so the roofline drops toward the neighbouring Bauhaus era blocks rather than towering over them.

Florentin is the reason to buy here. In May 2025 the Tel Aviv local planning committee advanced a 142 dunam district plan for the neighbourhood covering roughly 3,700 new homes and about 195,000 square metres of commerce and employment, with Frenkel Street forming its southern boundary (Calcalist, 11 May 2025). The building therefore sits on the edge of the single largest renewal programme in south Tel Aviv, in a quarter where printing workshops and furniture makers now share the block with bars, bakeries and design studios. Levinsky Market is about ten minutes away on foot, the Florentin Street strip about five.

The street itself was renamed in 1994 after Rabbi Yitzhak Yedidya Frenkel, chief rabbi and head of the rabbinical courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, who founded the Ahavat Chesed synagogue standing at the eastern end of the street by Abarbanel. Five apartments across a full corner plot means a very small resident count for a building of this height, with two street frontages feeding daylight into every level.

The permit holder is Ramdor Sahar Ltd, registered with the Israeli companies registrar under number 511750846. Construction had not started when the permit was issued in May 2026, and the schedule shown on this page projects works starting in autumn 2026 and delivery around May 2028 from the permit date. Prices, apartment sizes and sales contacts have not been published yet; they will be added here once the developer opens marketing.
